Peter Mawanga is a globally acclaimed Malawian artist renowned for his pioneering music style, Nyanja Afro-Vibes—a rich fusion of traditional Nyanja instruments like the Nsansi (thumb piano), Valimba (xylophone), Visekese (shakers), and Kaligo (one-stringed guitar) with contemporary sounds. His performances captivate audiences across Africa, Europe, and America, earning him recognition as a cultural ambassador and one of Africa's musical icons.

Mawanga’s artistry reflects the core values of his Nyanja heritage, rooted in peace, resilience, and celebration of life.
